Battle of the Books

Open to rising 6-9th graders!

Are you interested in participating in a Suffolk County-wide book-based competition?  Join the Battle of the Books!  The Suffolk County Battle of the Books is an inter-library book trivia competition, focusing on six young adult novels. Libraries across the island build teams, hold practice meetings and mini competitions through the summer, and then meet to “battle it out” in August.  Winning teams earn trophies and medals.

There are Introduction to Battle of the Books programs on June 1st from 3:30-4:30pm and June 20th from 6:00-7:00pm.  If you would like to attend and learn more, please register here: https://emmaclark.librarycalendar.com/events/month
