After Hours Events
Grab your friends and head to the Library for After Hours events!
During After Hours programs, the Library will be closed to all but the participants of the program; these are “lock-in” events. Teens and Tweens must have a permission form on file, and arrive promptly at their assigned time. Once in the library building, participants may not leave the building until the end of the event. Participants will be asked to adhere to all rules and safety protocols, so we can all have the most fun possible! Library Staff will be on hand to supervise and moderate the events.
Open to Teens, Tweens, and Adults: PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS AT THE LIBRARY – Saturday September 20, 7:00-9:00pm OR 9:30-11:30pm

Have you ever wanted to experience a paranormal investigation? Join us as we attempt to find (or debunk) local ghosts at Emma Clark Library! After the Library closes, registered attendees will meet Library Staff at the main entrance and be escorted into the Library for the investigation. Members of the Long Island Paranormal Investigators organization will explain the science behind their investigative tools, while Library Staff discuss the history of the Library and local area, as well as unexplained occurrences that have led some to wonder if the Library is haunted. Participants will split up into groups, led by Paranormal Investigators, to see what (or who) is at the root of some of the Library’s spooky stories.
