After Hours Events

Grab your friends and head to the Library for After Hours events, exclusively for teens and tweens!

During After Hours programs, the Library will be closed to all but the participants of the program; these are “lock-in” events. Teens and Tweens must have a permission form on file, and arrive promptly at their assigned time. Once in the library building, teens and tweens may not leave the building until their adult picks them up. Teens and tweens will be asked to adhere to all rules and safety protocols, so we can all have the most fun possible! Library Staff will be on hand to supervise and moderate the events.

LASER TAG – Saturday July 19th

Rising 6-8th Graders: 6:00-7:30pm

Rising 9-12th Graders: 8:30-10:00pm

We provide the gear, you provide the players! Teens will be broken into teams and get to play at least 3 rounds of Laser Tag during the event. The lower level of the library will be set up with both obstacles and safe zones. Battle it out with your friends to see who is the laser tag champion! Between rounds, games and snacks will be available in the “home base” room.

KARAOKE NIGHT – Saturday August 16th

Rising 6-8th Graders: 6:00-7:30pm

Rising 9-12th Graders: 8:30-10:00pm

We provide the karaoke machine, you pick the songs! Participants will get the chance to sign at least 3 songs of their choice (non-explicit track only). Snacks, themed mocktails, and other forms of entertainment will be available as well for all attendees. Don’t want to sing but want to hang with your friends? You’re welcome to attend as an audience member!
